Caffeine and my best home run predictions today both serve as Monday pick-me-ups, as we look to kick the Monday blues with some winning wagers.

My best home run bets today look to Pete Alonso and Eugenio Suarez to up their season tallies, as they face favorable pitching matchups. Further, I'm taking fliers on Josh Bell and Freddie Freeman to go yard.

Pete Alonso (Mets) to hit a home run (+300) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Alonso has hit just four home runs across his past 10 outings, cashing this prop at a 30% clip during the same span. However, he's my best home run prediction today due to his historical success against Philadelphia starter Aaron Nola.

The Mets' slugger is slashing .327/.383/.709 in 55 career at-bats against the Phillies' former ace. He's posted 18 hits in the head-to-head, with nine going for extra bases and six leaving the yard. Nola has struggled mightily this season, as evidenced by his 6.78 ERA across 13 starts - the highest of his career by a large margin.

Nola has given up 15 dingers in 69 innings of work this season, including at least one in each of his last three outings. If Alonso can club his 34th of the campaign, a $10 wager with DraftKings returns $30 in profits.

Suarez has left the yard nine times across 34 games back in Seattle's navy blue threads. This stretch includes three across his last two games, and he's cashed this prop at a 30% clip in his last 10 outings. Suarez looks to make it three straight with a moon shot tonight against St. Louis.

Seattle's slugger has taken the Cardinals' starter, Miles Mikolas, deep in nearly 25% of at-bats against one another. He's 9-for-19 (.474) in his career against the 37-year-old, so we believe Suarez is worth a $10 flier, which yields a $30 profit if the Mariners star improves his stats against Mikolas.
